Island Park

Island Park is located in the Town of Hempstead as part of Nassau County, New York. As of the 2000 census, Island Park had a population of 4,732 with a 2005 estimate at just above 4,741. Island Park is an island within Long Island and is delineated by the rails of the Long Beach Branch of the Long Island Rail Road which provides access to New York City.
